    Warmrest Orthopedic Dog Bed.
This is a review for the Warmrest Orthopedic Dog Bed. I actually got this bed for my two cats! My cats are rather large snowshoes. This is the size small bed. If you’re buying this for a cat, this would be fitting two or three cats. Two large cats, comfortably. You can see in the photos my girl only takes up less than half of the bed. It’s big. It comes with two pieces, the bottom foam piece which has a pleather type cover and the top piece that is soft and fluffy. You can use both pieces together as the photos show for a more luxurious bed, or you can use them separately to spice things up. You’re supposed to let the foam expand for three or so days before your pets use it, but as you see, my cat immediately made herself comfortable and she hasn’t been off of it much since. She’s sixteen and I love this extra comfort for her! I highly recommend this bed and I’d definitely purchase it again, it’s really nicer than you’d expect. I’m happy with this purchase!

Chew toy and bed all in one!
I bought this dog bed thinking it would be a cozy little spot for my pup to nap. What I didn’t realize is that she would actually use it as chew toy! She has provided the kids and I hours of entertainment watching her chew, hop and roll on the mat. Eventually she wore herself out and crawled under it to nap.The mat itself doesn’t stick or attach to the base which would be nice. But if it did then puppy couldn’t drag the mattress around the house…we are also sending it with her when she is kenneled while we are on vacation, so accidental win I guess.Honestly puppy has loved playing with this and we have laughed ourselves to tears watching her. It’s definitely a worthwhile purchase.

The parts may be better than the whole
All three of my collies were scared to death of this bed when I first put it on the floor after waiting 72 hours (or less?) for the mattress part to “inflate.” Dawson, whose dinner dish was closest to the bed, wouldn’t even eat his dinner until I moved the bed out of the room. Eventually, that changed. (See image. You can almost see the bed under Zachery; Dakota is wedged in between Zachery on the bed and the side of the sofa, on the floor.) They now take turns as to who uses it rather than the other three I have nearby…or the floor! (I frequently wake up to find they have all pushed the various beds out of the way to sleep on the laminate floor.)When they first decided it wasn’t so scary they couldn’t at least walk across it, Dakota stumbled on it a bit when the foam corner gave way unexpectedly, and I was afraid that would make him afraid of the bed again, but it didn’t. However, I think the two-part bed is a little inconvenient, and they occasionally walk across it gingerly. I’m pretty sure it was originally designed to be a foam mattress the exact size of a respective dog crate, and the fluffy top would fit on top. As a two-part doggy bed, sans crate, the fluffy top tends to slip off the firmer bottom. The two parts with the fluffy top and firmer mattress are also a bit difficult for me to walk across. So in all, I don’t think it’s worthy of a full five stars. I asked Zachery what he thought, but he was too busy sleeping to agree or disagree.

    GREAT DOG BED!!
Love that this dog bed can be used multiple ways! Having a dog that gets hot, appreciate the reverse side that has a cooler fabric or the base of the bed that has the same fabric. It fluffed up nicely out of the packaging (boy was it packed well with multiple layers and very protected). It states washable top with the fleece on one side and the waterproof fabric on the other so I guess you just throw that entire top into the washer as I don’t see that you can remove the cover. You can feel that the base is an “egg crate” layer under the fabric and provides a lot of cushioning for your pup! Great value and again, really like the versatility with this bed. Plan to use in the car a lot with the waterproof wipeable fabric! See photo of our girl enjoying the bed the second I put it down on the floor.

Title: Perfect Fit for My Labrador and the Cats Stole It Too!
This orthopedic dog bed is a total win! The size fits perfectly in my Labrador’s crate and gives him plenty of support with the thick egg-crate foam. The waterproof pillow-top layer makes it extra comfy and easy to clean, and the removable cover is a big plus for washing. The dark grey color looks sleek and hides fur well. Funny enough, my cats have claimed it too! They curl up on it whenever my Lab isn’t using it! Great quality, super soft, and worth every penny.

    Extremely disappointed
This is not a true pillow-top dog bed. It comes in two pieces (pillow and bed) and there is no way to attach them. Either the description is misleading or I misread it…but either way, this is a very poorly designed dog bed!! I am extremely disappointed and recommend against purchasing it.

    Happy, comfy pup!
The pupper loves it!This came packaged well suctioned and wrapped in a smaller box than I thought. You’ll definitely need scissors or a blade to remove the wrapping, just be sure to be careful so you do not rupture the pillow or the bed.Once we got it out, it looked good from the start! It is recommended to let it sit for at least 24 hours to let it properly fluff up.I also enjoy the grey colors, they matched perfectly with the doggo’s blankie. And the handle on the mattress makes it easy to pick up and carry as needed. Another plus is that it is machine washable! 🙌🏾

Soft and Washable, but Not as Described
This dog bed does have an egg-crate foam base, and I like that everything is removable and washable—that’s always a big plus for me. However, I ordered the Large size, which should have a 3″ base, and it definitely does not. The picture shows how much smaller the base actually is. On top of that, the pillow topper is quite lopsided, and you can really see that in the photo as well. That said, it is very soft and my dog seems comfortable on it. I’m just not sure how long the base will last since it’s much thinner than advertised. Overall, it works for now, but it’s a bit of a disappointment compared to what I expected.
