I picked this 10-lb IRIS airtight storage container to hold my homemade laundry powder, and it’s exactly what I was looking for. The locking lid clicks down firmly and keeps the scent locked in. I bought this because I live in a tropical climate where bugs are just a part of life. If you do not store things in airtight containers, expect there to be bugs in it within a few days. I had an issue with ants always finding their way into my pet food and I got fed up with throwing it out and re-buying (and wasting money) so I got this. I was skeptical because it was so cheap but this works so well. It has foam around the edge of the lid which keeps it so bugs or other critters cannot crawl inside. Some have the plastic edging around them, but the foam also makes the lid close quietly if you just let it fall shut. The wheels are very stable and do not get stuck while rolling it back and forth. It holds a lot of food as well. I usually buy the 22lb bags of pet food and it fits in here no problem. You could use it for anything really, even if you didn’t want to use it for pet food. It also keeps moisture in without the food getting soggy which again, is a plus for where I live. 10/10 excellent product

Works great. I wouldn’t call it a tight seal, but it does open and close easily and stores better than in the bag. Only 4 stars because I dont believe its completely air tight.
