This was a great purchase and has been a fantastic addition to our pet care setup. It’s built extremely durable and the quality is obvious right away. The sealing lid works perfectly – locks in freshness, keeps moisture out and completely contains any food smells. I’ve noticed my dog’s food stays fresher for longer. Overall, this is a reliable, well designed storage container that does exactly what it promises. It’s Good, Could Use a Few Improvements
Ergonomically packaged and arrived early. Seller didn’t delay the shipping. Overall the quality isn’t bad. I use these for storage of packaged, dry goods in the emergency pantry and for pet foods. I purchased three: 2 of the 40 lb and the 20 lb. If “I were King” I’d changed the depth of the “vault” handle so it’s easier to grab. It’s rather shallow so that is kind of tricky to get a grip… falls out of my hands as soon as I open it literally every. time…because the handles are just not deep enough to hold on. So that’s kind of irritating, but not a deal killer. I would make the scoops actual scoops instead of something that looks like it came in a kid’s school lunch. The selling point for me is that they are stackable. However, the issue of depth comes up here again on the stamping/molding: the female end is too shallow and the male end too short to stack reliably unless they have a lot of weight in them. Even then, I would not stack more than two of them because the things really do slide around on one another, even when fully loaded. The ‘airtight’ aspect of it comes from a large silicon o-ring that falls off constantly. This is a definitive design flaw that I solved with miniscule dabs of loctight blue at its place on the lid, itself. But I should not have had to do that. A little more depth in the molding for the ring and this would not be necessary. So it’s a decent product for storing really food of any kind indoors. No discernible smells or other issues like that. I will certainly buy more and just hope the manufacturer makes improvements upon the design based on real customer feedback. Simple tolerance testing and adjustments in the manufacturing process would help. I like the product well enough but if another brand comes along that’s more reliably stackable, that’s what I’ll buy. Strikes me more as a manufacturing issue than design flaw. So four stars rather than what would have been five.

I love products that are sturdy, well built and function well… this is one of them! It holds a GIANT bag of dog food plus more, keeps it really fresh, and the best thing is that it stacks away in the pantry and you can put other storage ON TOP of it because the top is flat. The lid is easy to use and works well. Thumbs up!
