Nice design well built
Love these slim line cans for my bathroom. I bought three in different sizes. Strong and well built. I like the nice clean design, are very quiet, holds a lot, and it opens easily when you wave your hand over it. I purchased the bags for the cans, but you can use any small trash bags. It’s nice not to see the garbage in the can. The battery for the device last a very long time as I have only had to change it once in a year and we use it constantly.

UPDATE: Seems I needed to wait (was the next day) for the “reset” to finish after new batteries inserted AND now it WORKS. I really like this trash bin with lid in bathroom; keeps things looking neat. Sorry for the previous bad review: After a few months – stopped working. New batteries, cleaned & reset . . . waited. Still not working. Loved the function, lid and design. Now it is trash.

Perfect wastebasket
I have a tiny bathroom and the wastebasket I had was similar in size but not covered. This is the perfect wastebasket and with the touchless cover, it looks great and no one has to see the awful trash. The bags fit around the inner ring which seats perfectly on the ridges of the inside of the basket. I had to laugh at the other reviews that could not figure this out. I even saw a video of a couple trying to fit the ring on the outside rim, LOL. It takes a second for the cover to open when you move your hand near the sensor and it closes automatically a few seconds later. I will buy another one for the side of the toilet. It’s great for wipes and menstrual waste. I’m bummed that I spent a fortune on my marble wastebaskets because this is so much better.

Very convenient to use and so much better than the bin from the city. The wide opening, the narrow footprint, the classy ridged exterior, the well supported and concealed bag, the removable lid, the ease of use and the full containment of odours all earn it a well deserved place on my cramped condo kitchen counter. My husband didn’t want me to spend money on a new bin since we already had the free one from the city, but now he’s happy I ignored his opinion. He’s a big fan, as am I, of the touchless operation and the ease of setting the lid to stay open when needed. It is very helpful when your hands are dirty to not need to touch the lid to open it. My only issue is that the carbon filter is too small to make a difference, but it doesn’t matter because the lid keeps all the smells in.
