Great kennel for travel!
This is the second one I have purchased and I continue to love it! I have a dog that is nervous in the car but she’s too big for car seats. So I thought maybe a kennel would help her feel more secure. It worked so well! The kennel itself is super. It’s easy to collapse and set up. It’s just two steps really – lift up the two metal frames on each side and then pull out and place the bracing arms. It feels very sturdy and it has great little features like a zip open top with a Velcro strap to hold it while open. That’s how my dog rides in it. It also has a little clip for you to lock the zipper into for the front door. The front door has a Velcro strip that lets you roll it up and place it. It didn’t work super well because it’s only on one side so the other side dangles a bit. But it worked well enough. I agree with other reviewers that this is not a product for dogs who will attempt to escape or who will scratch at the kennel. The canvas/vinyl style fabric is great but it won’t stand up to major scratching or biting for too long. I bought the large one for my first trip and it was really big. I had to collapse it in order for it to fit in my car and then I could set it up once inside. It did require putting the back seat down. The medium fit in my back seat without needing to drop the seat or adjust the front seats. It also will only go in collapsed but it sets up well once inside. I also used this in hotels when leaving my dog for a while. No issues. It cleans easily too if you get mud or something in it.

Amazon Basics Wins My Vote Again!
Bought used item. Shipped & arrived as promised. In great condition. Fairly easy to set up, once I figured it out. Very sturdy once it went up however I could see that if a dog was a chewer or anxious it could be destroyed from the inside because it is made from a canvas/duffel like material but that is why it’s a travel crate. I was specifically looking for a travel crate to take to agility class/competitions as you have to crate your dog in between runs. However, I will be returning this particular crate as it is way too big for my 43 lb. Standard Poodle. I purchased the 42L x 31W x 31H crate and upon setting it up realized it was more suited to my 81 lb. Belgian Malinois Doodle. As far as I’m concerned though, the Amazon Basics travel crate gets 5 stars for quality, ease of use/setting up and it’s very light for it’s size. P.S.: It would need to have a pad put in the bottom of it though as there is absolutely no padding. The bottom of the crate is shiny plastic so any liquids spilled (water, urine, etc.) would be easy to wipe up.UPDATE TO ABOVE REVIEW: So I returned the above crate & ordered one size down (36″L x 24″W x 24″H) thinking that this would be a better fit for the 43lb. Standard Poodle. When this new crate arrived, much to my dismay, she is too tall for it! 🙁 She literally cannot stand up fully in the new crate nor even sit up straight; Otherwise in all the other dimensions it “fits” her. Now I’m kicking myself for returning the bigger crate. Who knew that crate shopping for your dog was as painful as shopping for a swimsuit??? Thank goodness for Amazon and their return policy.

Portable dog crate
This thing is easy to assemble and has plenty of room for my Corgi for sure. She loves it. I got it because we’re going cross country in a month and I have a Wrangler so not much storage. This folds flat, seems quality built and again easy. I come from having to do a pack an play for kids. This is a beeeze.

*No straps for carrying*
Bought this exact same kennel a couple years ago, the only difference is it was all black.This time I purchased the tan one, and apparently I didn’t notice in the photos that it doesn’t have carrying straps at all.No handles or even D-rings for a shoulder strap… I wanted to use it to carry my pet to the the vet.My black one had both! The kennel itself it built solid, and excellent quality for year of use… Just be sure you don’t need that feature if you buy this size/color: 👉🏻(Small 26x18x18”)👈🏻

EXACTLY WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED
With a new 2 year old standard poodle on it’s way to us, we needed a crate for when the dog first comes home until he knows the rules and boundaries. Having a physical handicap, I have a 10-15 lb weight restriction, so the molded (usually weigh between 20-25# for XL) and steel (50-60# for XL) was too heavy for me to handle. This one looked interesting and functional so I ordered it. The frame is qite sturdy and has heavy canvas on outside and heavy mesh on the top and front, that zip open and closed. Set up, IMO, is much easier to figure out than the steel crates. Took about 5 minutes from box to completed set up and breaks down easily, lays uber flat sor storage. There is no odor to the canvas, is easy to clean.

Spacious, Sturdy and Lightweight
Very pleased. Light weight, sturdy canvas material, zippers are not skimpy. Plenty of ventilation, front and upper access, detachable storage pouch and fully collapsible. I will get a memory foam kennel pad for added comfort.I purchased a very similar one years ago off Amazon that is no longer offered by that vendor. My daughter has that one for her cats, so I was thrilled to find this was offered by Amazon Basics!Last picture is of our Tortie girl Violet. She is between 11lbs & 12lbs. There is ample headroom and a lot of interior space for her. I would think a very small pan litter box could fit towards back and small water & food dishes could be placed as needed if you’re going to travel with your pet.The original one has lasted for years, transporting our 14lb Bombay cat, and it still looks brand new. This one is an exact dup so I expect it to perform the same.

The perfect crate
Amazing, 20 million out of 10. Durable and rugged without being too bulky. It’s super quick to put up and collapse back down which makes it great for on the go.My only complaint is that I wish it had a door on the long side, but I make do.

Everything is good easy to set up but wish it had sturdy zipper. It broke the day we used it. 🙁 my pup is 1 yr old and she tried to get out and she was able to escape. Don’t know if there is way to replace the zipper (?) to keep her inside when we are not around.

Wir haben die Box erworben, um eine Möglichkeit zu haben, unsere beiden Kitten (6 Monate alt | BKH und OKH) sicher im Auto mit in den Urlaub zu nehmen.Dafür ist sie sehr gut geeignet und die Ladies konnten aufrecht darin stehen und zudem auch nebeneinander darin liegen.Die Netzeinsätze halten auch gut dem ein oder anderen Versuch des Kratzens stand.Insgesamt ist die Box sehr stabil aufgrund der Metallrohre, die man problemlos eingesetzt bekommt. Ist vergleichbar mit dem Einsatz der Fiberglasstangen bei Zelten, jedoch wesentlich einfacher ;)Einziges Manko ist, dass es keinen Tragegriff an der Box gibt bzw. keinen am oberen Ende. Dadurch muss man die Box tragen. Der angebrachte Griff an der Seite kann mit dem Gurt im Auto verbunden werden.Insgesamt kann ich die Box gut empfehlen 🙂
